Passing Through Life, Camera in Hand

It's hard to remember a time before I was involved in photography. I carried a camera all through high school. I knew at 16 I wanted to use photography as a means of exploring the world.​ It worked.  I spent a decade as a photojournalist working in Western Canada, with a short stint at the East Valley and Scottsdale Tribune in Arizona.​ I have long since left the newspaper and journalism business but continue to use that experience to document life. ​I work mostly with film and in black and white. It's where I began in photography and it's what excites me most.
